Board-level security is storytelling as compression: complexity turned into something someone can act on.
Different inputs keep perspective and narrative working, and narrative is a skill security leaders cannot skip.
A board does not need a forty-slide explanation of an attack path. It needs to understand what happened, why it matters, what could happen next, and what decision needs to be made. That is storytelling, not as marketing, but as compression: taking complexity without losing truth and turning it into something another person can understand well enough to act on.
That is an engineering skill too.
